The Magic of Italian Lakes
Discover the heart of Northern Italy’s Lake District (Garda, Como, Maggiore) and enjoy their spectacular views and gorgeous lakeside villages, as well as the romantic medieval cities of Verona and Bergamo.
Our tour starts in Verona where we will visit the most interesting and beautiful places and monuments: a fascinating journey through various ages, architectural styles, stories and legends, from Roman remains until the early decades of ‘900s.
We then depart Verona for Lake Garda where we will visit the charming village of Sirmione,
the picturesque Lazise
and the lake-side village of Malcesine
On the way to Varenna, our next destination on the eastern shore of Lake Como, we will stop and visit the absolutely stunning Bergamo: a hilltop medieval town surrounded by ancient walls.
The gorgeous Varenna and the Vezio Castle will be our next visit.
The following days we will visit Bellagio “The Pearl of Lake Como” with its beautiful villas and manicured gardens.
In our final destination, Stresa on Lake Maggiore, we will visit the stunning Borromeo Islands.
We will catch a cable car to Mottarone enjoying one of the finest viewpoint of the region.
Santa Caterina del Sasso, an enchanting monastery clinging to the cliff face, will be our final destination, before leaving to Milano.
During our tour you will enjoy local specialties, wine and olive oil tastings.
