Accommodation in Bergamo

My house, nesteld between the historic charme of Città Alta (the ancient town dating back to the medieval times) and the vibrant atmosphere of Città Bassa (the modern town from the 17th century), is a delightful place where to study in complete tranquillity. With four storeys, including a large and cozy attic, it offers a unique and confortable living space. The private bathroom, TV, A/C and Wi-Fi and a lovely garden provide modern convenience in an enjoyable environment for your pleasant stay. I can accomodate 1 to 3/4 students to better personalize your stay. On your arrival day, I will pick you up at Bergamo Airport (Milano-Orio Al Serio) or Bergamo rail station.

A quaint garden for morning classes will provide a serene setting for focused learning. Come lunch and dinner, the garden transforms into a cozy dining spot and as the  sun sets, enjoy aperitivo in this delightful space, immersed in a tranquil ambience.

Excursions and Visits

As your language program offers a good blend of education and exploration, I will also take you on a half day local visit and on a full day excursion per week. The half day local visits to both Città Alta and Città Bassa in Bergamo provide a glimpse into the town’s heritage. The weekly full-day excursion to destination like Milano, Brescia, Monza, Mantova, Cremona, Lodi, Piacenza, Crema, Parma, Verona, Pavia, Vigevano, the Lake Area and the Mountain Area, offers a broader cultural expereince.

CORENNO PLINIO

I also offer a wonderful experience on the shore of Lake Como. My cosy home is situated lake front on a private lane and offers a marvellous view over the lake and the surrounding mountains. In the morning we will have classes on the terrace which is directly on the lake.

From the terrace you can enjoy the beautiful colours of dawn and sunset. In the afternoon you can swim and sunbath after classes, enjoy lake sites, have fun while studying Italian in a relaxing atmosphere.

Excursions and Visit

During your Italian course, you can visit many wonderful places:

• Bellagio and its Villa Melzi with gorgeous gardens
• Varenna, a very nice and ancient small village with its Villa Monastero and the Vezio Castle with a stunning view
• Piona and its Benedectine Monastery
• Tremezzo and its magnificent Villa Carlotta with manicured gardens
• Menaggio, a nice village with shops and good restaurants
• Lenno and its beautiful Villa Balbianello where a number of well-known films have been shot (“Star Wars: Attack of the Clones”- “Casino Royale”)

MENAGGIO

Menaggio is located in the scenic area of the “Golden Triangle”, famous for its beauty and rich history. From here, you can easily reach the nearby gourgeous villages (Varenna, Bellagio, Tremezzo, Lenno, Bellano) by pubblic boat or ferry in only 15/20 minutes. The town of Como is at 40 minutes distance by hydrofoil or car. For nature lovers, walkers and bikers, Menaggio is few km away from the “Greenway” and the mountain.

Students seeking for both an intensive immersion in the language and a dynamic experience of the Italian culture and lifestyle will therefore enjoy the homestay language vacation in Menaggio.

The enchanting and elegant historical house, totally restored, is in the main square by the lake  with boutique shops, café and excellent restaurants at a walking distance.
